Q: Who is the author of the musical and who participated in its creation?
A: I am the author, but the project brings together a team of talented musicians, animators, artists, and actors who contribute in their own unique way.

Q: How historically accurate is the musical?
A: I relied on historical facts while preserving respect for the era. But, like any musical, it is an artistic interpretation with emotional and symbolic accents.

Q: Why did you decide to make a musical specifically about Cleopatra?
A: Because her destiny is drama, love, politics, and myth all in one. She embodies timeless themes of power, freedom, and choice, which are still relevant today.

Q: Will the musical feature the ancient Egyptian language or other authentic elements?
A: Yes, I use some authentic phrases to convey the atmosphere. But the foundation remains accessible to the modern audience.

Q: What musical style did you choose and why?
A: I combined symphonic power, ethnic motifs, and the modern dramaturgy of musicals, with some elements of rock. This style creates a sense of depth and freshness.

Q: Do you have a license to use Cleopatra’s story?
A: Yes. Cleopatra’s story is part of world culture, and its interpretations are free. I rely on historical sources and mythology.

A: Yes, I plan to release a four-disc album, along with other formats—the music lives beyond the stage.

A: That is in the plans. Cleopatra’s story is universal; it resonates in every culture.

A: Yes. I’ve deliberately avoided overly violent or sexualized content, so I expect the musical will be suitable for ages 12–13+, making it accessible to a wide audience.

Q: Aren’t you afraid that such a bold interpretation might push away historians and conservatives?
A: No, boldness is part of art. I don’t argue with history — I bring it to life with emotion.

Q: Why don’t you collaborate with major studios or producers?
A: Because I wanted to preserve creative freedom. Besides, no major studio would take on such risks.

Q: Can you guarantee that the musical will be commercially successful?
A: No project can be guaranteed, but I have everything: a powerful story, music, and a strong visual style. I believe in its success and work toward it.

Q: Will the musical show the “dark” sides of Cleopatra?
A: Yes, because contrast makes her image alive. She is not idealized, but real.

Q: Who is your target audience? Why should I watch this musical?
A: Anyone interested in history, music, and strong personalities. You will experience not just a show, but an emotional journey.

Q: Don’t you think Cleopatra is an overused subject that no one is interested in anymore?
A: No. Cleopatra reveals herself anew each time. Every generation has its own Cleopatra.

Q: Are there any historical consultants helping you?
A: Yes, but they only appear in spirit and occasionally haunt my coffee breaks.

Q: Why isn’t there a duel scene with Mark Antony?

A: Because I prefer counterpoints over sword points. Music hits harder than a gladius.

Q: Why does Cleopatra sometimes talk in riddles?
A: Because clarity is boring, and riddles make the palace more dramatic.

A: Of course. But it’s more like politics with heartbeats — messy, strategic, and slightly tragic.

Q: Why didn’t you make a full battle scene?
A: Because I like to fight with melodies, not arrows.

Q: What’s your plan for the future?

A: Survive editing, finish the score, not burn from self-importance, and maybe sleep someday.

Q: Will teenagers understand the political intrigue?
A: Only if they pay attention.

Q: Are the gods really singing in the chorus?
A: Only metaphorically. But sometimes it sounds like they are.

Q: Why are some scenes intentionally confusing?
A: Confusion is art disguised as mystery.

Q: How realistic are the dialogues with Caesar?
A: Realistic enough to imagine, poetic enough to forgive historical liberties.

Q: Is humor allowed in serious scenes?
A: Absolutely. Tears taste better when served with a dash of irony.

Q: Is this just another attempt to turn Cleopatra into a glamorous star to sell nonsense and make money?
A: Oh yes. Exactly. Glamour, intrigue, luxury, and nonsense — all included. Money too — on screen, in a toga, with a dagger. I planned everything.

Q: Who even listens to this pompous trash about ancient pharaohs in 2026?
A: People whose IQ is higher than the percentage on the phone. And a couple of gods eavesdropping, just out of curiosity.

Q: Why do you think you have the right to rewrite history instead of letting academics do it?
A: Academics wrote it — I sang it. It’s called collaboration. I’m not stopping them from singing at conferences.

Q: Is this a musical or some capsule sketch in the “all is lost” style?
A: This is a manifesto you will quote when everything really falls apart.

Q: Why did you decide to throw in another “feminist” nonsense instead of a normal historical musical?
A: Because history is also nonsense — just male, with dates. I just added music and chorus.

Q: Why such a self-satisfied tone in the project?
A: Because, unlike most, I actually do something massive without a team, budget, or sponsors named Beckham. I’m like Rome: high on pride and starting anyway.

Q: You call this “art”? It’s just a fancy fantasy for snobs.
A: Exactly! Fancy fantasy — that’s art. And unlike snobs, I at least don’t pretend.

Q: Why no investors?
A: Because when I pitch “an animated 3D musical about Cleopatra with theological banners and a psychedelic chorus,” investors… start praying. For me. Just in case.

Q: What if it fails?
A: Then I’ll just say it was a conceptual performance on the illusion of success in capitalist times. And I’ll make an NFT of the failure.

Q: Who’s even going to watch this? It’s too complicated!
A: Those tired of “too simple.” Those whose inside isn’t only “like” and “check,” but “why do I live?” And maybe a couple of critics with red wine and megalomania. My people.

Q: Will there be even a hint of real Egypt, not just pomp and show?
A: Egypt isn’t pyramids on a screen. It’s the fear of oblivion, voices under the sand, and the last candle in a temple. Didn’t see it? Watch again.

Q: What if we cancel all this?
A: This musical is a breath. You cannot cancel air.

Q: Where’s the part about her trauma, suppressed feelings, and path to self-acceptance?
A: In the tomb.
