Behind the Scenes

Welcome behind the scenes of Cleopatra The Musical, where I share exclusive short videos capturing real moments from the recording process, as well as the creative work behind the visuals. Here you can see how each scene and song came to life and explore the making of the 3D graphics — from character design and animation to the creation of detailed scenes and immersive environments. From the first vocal takes to the final visual touches, these clips reveal the passion, dedication, and artistry behind every part of the project.
Glenn Welman — drums

In this live studio session, the drums bring raw power and drive to the song, setting the tempo and shaping its intensity. Every beat adds energy, momentum, and emotional depth, giving the music its heartbeat and dynamic force.

Pierre Von Guersing — vocals

Behind the scenes of Pierre’s recording session — where the character truly begins to take shape. Voice casting is crucial: the right voice doesn’t just sing the lines, it carries the personality and emotion of the character to the audience.
Roberto Pace — bass

The bass guitar provides the core and emotional grounding of the track. It connects rhythm and harmony, adds weight and richness, and creates a solid foundation that keeps the feeling steady and powerful throughout the song.
Gina Sobol — flute
Nina Uzelac — cello

In this live session, the leading flute carries the main melodic line with clarity and emotional intensity, while the cello weaves a counterpoint beneath it, adding depth and dramatic tension. The dialogue between these two instruments creates a rich melodic harmony, where lightness and gravity coexist in perfect balance. This performance captures a small but powerful fragment of the musical’s final apotheosis, revealing the emotional peak of the story through expressive live playing.
Josh Salzillo — keyboards

The sound of the Yamaha DX7 brings its unmistakable electric piano tone to the track. Its bright, expressive character and authentic ’80s texture add clarity, emotion, and a shimmering warmth that can’t be confused with anything else.
Igor Vlasenko — guitar

In this live session, the guitar delivers powerful chords that inject drive and intensity exactly where the music needs it. Each strike adds aggression, energy, and momentum, pushing the song forward and giving it a bold, commanding presence.

Character Creation
coming soon...

Character creation is where historical figures begin to take visual form. By studying historical references, artworks, and sculptures, each character is carefully shaped to capture recognizable features and personality. The goal is to transform these inspirations into believable digital characters that feel authentic and alive on screen.
Behind the scenes of bringing Cleopatra to life in 3D. The goal is to capture not just a character, but the essence of the historical figure by carefully studying her most well-known images. Every detail is shaped to preserve the recognizable features and timeless elegance associated with Cleopatra, blending historical inspiration with modern digital artistry to recreate her presence on screen.
During the development of the 3D character of Julius Caesar, the focus was on interpreting historical references and classical sculptures that have shaped how we imagine him today. The challenge is to translate those iconic features into a believable digital character while preserving the strength, intelligence, and authority associated with the Roman leader.

Character Animation
